Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing one of the most beautiful and romantic surprise proposals I've ever seen.
The proposal took place in the Monastery of Sao Bento da Vitoria in Porto, and it was truly a breathtaking experience.
The groom-to-be had planned everything meticulously, from the setting to the music to the candles. He arranged for a mini-orchestra to play his girlfriend's favorite song as he sat at the piano, surrounded by thousands of flickering candles.
As the music swelled, the groom-to-be got down on one knee and pulled out a ring, asking his girlfriend to spend the rest of her life with him. The moment was magical, and the look on his girlfriend's face was priceless.
